Our Introduction

U.K. Souharda Co-operative Society started with the name ‘U. K. Co-operative’ on 23/05/2001 under the Co-op Act and later renamed as “U.K. Souharda Sahakari” on 12/01/2011 under ‘Souharda Sahakari Act’ and now successfully continuing with the same name. U.K. Souharda started functioning in Yellapur with 300 memberships and 3,00,000 shares under the leadership of Shri Pramod Hegde, presence of former Chief Minister & leader Shri Ramakrishna Hegde Doddamane, co-operation of Shri Ganesh Hegde Doddamane.

The Society has continuously grown and has been providing excellent service to its members for the past 25 years. At present, Shri Pramod V. Hegde is serving as the President and Shri Subbayya Gajanan Dhogale as the Vice-President, with a Board of 15 Directors.

We have grown within short period and have 10 branches across the district with head office in Yellapur. We are now functioning with 22,448 memberships, share capital of 769.55 Lakhs, 20012.11  Lakhs in deposits and 52 employees. 

Now U.K. Souharda takes lead by extending its functional area all over Karnataka with multiple developmental programmes and services. We provide many types of loans, accepts different kinds of deposits, money transfer and receiving money through advanced technologies. We facilitate online-transaction, conversion of money, transfer of foreign currency, E-stamping and all type of bookings.

Finally, we need your supports to grove up this society and to extend our work area in future. We are always ready to give better service for you with smiley face.
